Should you disclose your Asperger's Syndrome or NLD to a current or perspective employer? How do you know what a "reasonable accommodation" is? Should you disclose during a job interview or after you're hired? What do you do if you believe that you've been discriminated against?
The answers to these questions and many more will be presented at a new workshop called Disclosing Asperger's and NLD in the Workplace: When, How and Whether to Do It. The workshop takes place on March 5 from 7:00 - 9:30pm at Temple Sinai, 50 Sewall Avenue, in Brookline, MA.
Seating is limited so register early! Visit www.ForwardMotion.info to download a registration form or send an email to ForwardMotion@charter.net.
You will get the tools and information you need to decide if disclosure is the right option for you. Whether you are preparing to look for work, actively interviewing or currently employed, you'll learn how to develop a solution-focused strategy that highlights your abilities rather than your limitations.
The cost of the workshop is $30 for a single attendee and $50 for two people from the same family. Additional family members can attend for $20 each. | |

Pre-registration is required and we're expecting a capacity crowd so act now to reserve your spot!
Sincerely,
Barbara Bissonnette
